32GB AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 now available

$249.99 on two-year plan, "black mist" color only

Right on schedule, AT&T has launched its 32GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S4. If you're after a Galaxy S4 with a bit more internal storage -- and after the recent controversy surrounding the S4's available memory, we wouldn't blame you -- it'll set you back $249.99 on a two-year plan. That's $50 more than the base 16GB model, which goes for $199.99. If you're buying it outright, you're looking at a hefty $669.99 price tag.

At the moment it seems AT&T is only stocking the 32GB Galaxy S4 in the "black mist" color option, as the store page for the 32GB model doesn't allow you to pick a color.

Anyone picking up a 32GB GS4 today? Or are there any 16GB buyers out there wishing they'd waited a little longer and paid a bit more? Hit the comments and share your thoughts.

  • I am happy AT&T has decided to sell the 32gb S4. I think this should have been Samsung's base model. There should be no 16gb model. I am waiting for Sprint to offer their 32gb model before I get an S4. If you feel the same way sign the petition below to show Sprint there is demand for higher capacity S4's.
  • I totally agree! The 32gb version should have been the base model for the Samsung Galaxy S4. 16gb model just doesn't make any sense even with micro SD support :-\
  • I hope Verizon offers the 32 GB model right out of the gate. If they don't, I'll wait for something better. My 32 GB Galaxy Nexus still has a lot of life left in it.
  • Same here...I was thinking of passing down my Gnex for an S4 or HTC One but unfortunately, by the looks of it, Verizon won't offer the One nor a 32/64 GB S4. It may be a blessing in disguise, however, as I'd much rather have the Note 3. I just wasn't wanting to wait until the end of the year to upgrade! Let's just hope Verizon will offer the Note 3 with more than 16 GB. With this being said, why would an OEM advertise different storage size options if only certain carriers offer them? False advertising from my perspective!
  • They should be selling the 32gb...hell 64gb would be good. I'm planning to wait also. If you are watching Sprint lets go! Get with the program.
  • For this phone and all the stuff preloaded on it, 32gb should be the base model. That's just what I feel though. I have been able to get used to 16gb on my N4 but still prefer a little more space like I have with my GNex. Only real difference is music I have stored on my device and maybe a game or two.
  • Does this version come with less than 16GB now?
  • With the amount of bloat on the S4 it takes up almost half of the internal 16 GB storage. So you might as well say it only comes with slightly more than 8 GB of storage. Very misleading!
  • this looks to me like suing someone for misleading
  • Storage is one thing, but I'm still waiting for someone to take a page from Motorola's playbook and offer a larger battery model while still maintaining a factory look and not a huge difference in thickness.
  • I am holding off for the water resistant version.
  • I think more space they give the more bloatware the carriers will put on the phone. thats just my 2 cents.
  • I exchanged my 16gb for the 32gb this morning. I was on day 13!
  • I would have definitely waited if I knew the 32gb model was coming out a week just 9 days after I bought my 16gb version. But for now I'll keep the 16gb. I doubt I'll get close to filling it up.
  • Snagged my 32GB this morning. Fell in love with the black one. Couldn't be happier.
  • I was able to exchange mine yesterday for the 32 GB model. I agree with others, it should not have launched with an 16 GB version. Minimum should have been 32 GB and then offer the 64 GB later. Otherwise, the phone is pretty darn impressive!
  • They shouldn't have ever produced the 16gb (8.8gb) version the first place. Also they should have had 32gb 64gb and 128gb available on day one
  • Anyone hear if a 64GB model is coming? I guess 32GB would suffice, but I'd really prefer 64GB - didn't Samsung advertise this?
  • 32gb version huh. Does that mean you get about 18gb free? Lol
  • Thats what im saying. The more GB the more bloatware the carrier is going to put on the phone
  • Come on T-Mobile!
  • I returned my 16 gb GS4. I don't feel sorry for AT&T or Best Buy if they get an avalanche of returns. Now I'll wait a few weeks and see if the 32gb comes out in white.
  • I never had a smartphone. This will be my first. I pick it up tomorrow. The local AT&T stores only has the 32 and doesn't sell 16. I do have a question... Anyone have a guide to teach me to use the s4?
  • If you take the time to go through the forums here you will learn all you need to know about the phone, so get busy reading and enjoy the great benefits of this website.
  • Thanks! ^_^. Android is completely new to me and foreign. I shall look through the forums! :)
