CTIA Wireless

Only two things to do in Orlando -- theme parks and conventions. And some of us have already done the Disney thing this month, so it's time to cover some smartphones, shall we? It's the CTIA Wireless show from the Orange County Convention Center. And we've got a pretty good idea of what we'll see, from a smattering of Sprint stuff to a new Samsung tablet -- and that's barely scratching the surface.

So join us all week for live coverage from Orlando. You can keep up with this link. And if you're looking for any behind-the-scenes stuff, be sure to follow @philnickinson, @backlon and @crackberrykevin.

Live all week from CTIA Wireless

Yup that's what its all about! I can honestly say I would never but the Flyer... so its all about the phones.

I was thinking about buying my next sprint phone off contract and when my time is up in NOV. See what the other networks were offering... but with ATT eating up TMob I think ill just stay home with my Unlimited. DATA

Dude that ain't ALL there is to do in Orlando! But when you're staying on I Drive it sure does seem that way! Looking forward to all the great announcements and coverage!

That new Samsung tablet might just be perfect for me. The size is smaller than the iPad but bigger than the 7 inch Tab and the UI should be touchwiz 4.0 (I don't really like Honeycombe's look).

I am desperately hoping for it to be default Portrait like the iPad 2. That would possibly make it a must buy, just need to know the price.

It's pretty clear that SPRINT will make this home they always do. CTIA is there place and is the original home of the htc evo 4g so we at sprint are awaiting the NEW HTC EVO 3D to be added to the Evo family. This device will be impressive as well as the specs sprint and htc truly take care of us they saved the best for last like they always do... Sprint lineup of devices for 2011... Htc Evo3d, Nexus S 4g, Motorola Atrix 4g, Htc Evo 4g, Htc Evo Shift 4g, Samsung Epic 4g, Then tablets.. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4g, Htc Evo View 4g, Blackberry playbook 4g, plus the google voice integration into all sprint smartphones as well as 2 other surprises that will be mentioned tuesday makes this the best lineup in the smartphone industry. I am a proud premier gold customer and current Evo 4g owner that will be on line day one to purchase my Htc Evo3d.

Heh, the only reason I go to Orlando is to continue through to the space coast. I hate Orlando, out here on the coast is much nicer.

Slip an Evo 3D into your pockets for me, and drop it off here in St. Pete.

Didn't anyone catch that VZW is announcing additional 2011 4G cities that were't on the original release list? Here's hoping. So far Lima, Toledo, Decatur and Sacramento...
