Pebble Steel

I've been enjoying the hell out of my Pebble Steel for a few months now. It looks good — halfway between a smartwatch and something more traditional — and it's ridiculously cool to be able to control your home air conditioner from your wrist while miles way at the beach. Hit up this post at Connectedly for a better look at what I'm using my Pebble for.

JSchu22 may consider going back to his Pebble after reading this...

Well, try wearing a Qualcomm Toq for a while and then jump back to the Pebble. Yikes, its like walking off the bridge of the Enterprise to that of a Bass boat. Yeah, both can get you the same place, but one is FAR more advanced than the other. Sure there are no apps or custom watch faces for the Toq, but who needs to control their Nest from their watch or have a bunch of different faces? Ok, maybe some, but a color screen that is always on and touch control is far more valuable in my mind. Not to mention answering texts by voice - a neat feature that works surprisingly well. And the Pebble screen is soooo small. Wow.

//Holy Fucking Going To Buy A Fucking Bass Boat, this Fucking Moment, and taking the wife and Dog to settle our own fucking paradise planet

//Holy Crap Had No Idea Bass Boats were capable of this

//Never been this happy before

Phil, are there options for fonts. I'd be alot more interested in a Pebble if you could change the font, I'm not a fan of how 16-bit everything looks. I can't help but think "Gameboy" every time I see one.
