Welcome to Night Vale is a weird and wonderful podcast you should be listening to

As much fun as soaking my brain in the unending stream of Android news is, every once in a while I need a break. Most of the time I'll decompress with a video game or a nice meal with someone special, but occasionally I need something different. I step away from the computer, slide on my headphones, and listen to Night Vale Community Radio. Night Vale is a special town, you see. It's not entirely clear where it is, and it's not entirely clear what is causing all of the strange things that happen in this town, but one thing you can always rely on is thorough reporting by the one person trying to hold the town together, a man named Cecil Palmer.

Welcome to Night Vale is a fantastically weird podcast series filled with just enough reality to leave you wondering if there really is a small city under the bowling alley down the street. It it by far my favorite regular podcast to listen to, and if you're looking for something to add to your regular podcast queue I can't recommend it enough. Do your self a favor, take a break from the world and give yourself reason to wonder if the person in line behind you at the grocery store is a member of the Sheriff's Secret Police.

You can catch the show with your favorite podcast app, through YouTube, or on the Commonplace Books website{.nofollow}. In fact, you can check out the first episode of the show below if you're curious. Enjoy!
