Three UK reveals Galaxy S5 pricing

British mobile operator Three has unveiled its on-contract prices for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S5, while also revealing that it'll be joining the GS5 pre-order party, with pre-orders available in-store and online from March 28. A Three-branded GS5 will set you back £69 upfront on the carrier's 24-month contracts, which start at £38 per month for 600 minutes and 2GB of data, moving up to £44 a month for unlimited minutes and data.

Three will also be offering the Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit smartwatches, both priced at £199.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in the UK and other countries from April 11, with pre-orders going live at many outlets from next Friday — for more on the GS5, check out our hands-on feature.

  • I would buy outright elsewhere and use Three's rolling contracts. If people have been on £40+ plans anyway I guess it's an OK deal. Are there any true unlimited data plans in our UK, like up to 100±gb per month as in the US. Nobody knows how much I don't know. Via my Note 3 on AC.
  • People say they've racked up terabytes with Three's plans. Posted via Android Central App
  • That's pricey. I think any contract that's over £34 a month should come with a free phone. Especially on a 24 month contract. I guess that's the way things are going though. Either way I'm waiting for the Note 4.

  • Absolutely. Few years ago every phone was free on contract. Posted via Android Central App
  • A few options to pay more upfront and bring unlimited down to £20-22, say under £200.00. It will sell. Nobody knows how much I don't know. Via my Note 3 on AC.
