While we've been discussing the Sony Ericsson Anzu (X12) for quite some time now, it was Eldar Murtazin's Tweets that really shed some light on the upcoming device. Now that it's stepped into the light, we get to have a look at some of the details and specs that will actually power this device. The 4.3-inch LCD display with 854 x 480 resolution will be running the same 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor that is found in the T-Mobile G2 / Desire Z. When it comes to taking pictures and video the Anzu will certainly not be lagging there. Built into to the device is a 12MP camera, which is totally capable of capturing 720p video as well.
The saddening part, at least for now? It's currently running on Android 2.1 and apparently launching in 2011 with Android 2.2. But, the good news is Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) is suggested as coming in the summer. We'd still rather see it at launch but, what can you do. Google Pixel 4a review, 6 months later: Still the best camera under $400
It turns out Google's "less is more" approach really fits well within the constraints of a less-expensive phone, and its strengths in software and camera processing stand out against less-refined competition. The Pixel 4a picks up right where the 3a left off, with better specs, the same great camera, and a $50 lower price.
