Samsung Galaxy S5, new Gear watches now available to pre-order from AT&T

As promised, AT&T has today made the Samsung Galaxy S5 available for pre-order, along with Samsung's latest smartwatches, the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit. The GS5 costs $199.99 on a two-year plan, from $25 per month on AT&T Next, or $649.99 outright. Meanwhile the Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit cost $199, while the camera-equipped Gear 2 is yours for $299.

AT&T is offering the Galaxy S5 in black and white only — no sign of the more vivid gold and blue options at present. Elsewhere, US Cellular and RadioShack are also due to begin GS5 pre-orders today, with T-Mobile following on Monday.

AT&T's site shows four devices as due to ship on April 8, a little ahead of the global launch date of April 11. For more on the GS5 and Samsung's latest Tizen-powered smartwatches, check out our hands-on coverage.

  • Those Gear 2 are SO 'the flavour of last month'..
  • Lol true. I'm still interested in the fit. It's really neat in person
  • 16 GB, 8 GB available?
  • The black looks good I think. I possibly could have wanted the blue, and in 32gb flavor. But I'd rather just get one. Preordered the black 16gb version with Next. Good deal!
  • The black one looks great, the best IMO. Posted via Android Central App
