Nest thermostat and Nest Protect now on sale in Belgium and the Netherlands

Nest Labs has now expanded the reach of its Nest connected thermostat and Nest Protect smoke detector devices to include the countries of Belgium and the Netherlands via the Google Play Store.
This follows up on Google's previous announcement that Nest products would expand its reach to more European territories by the end of September. Previous to today, the products were only available in the UK in that part of the world, in addition to the US and Canada. Nest Labs has promised to add France and Ireland to its list of countries by the end of the month.
Even though Nest products are only available directly from a few countries, the company claims that people have bought the devices via online auction sites like eBay in 120 countries. What do you think of this latest expansion by Nest Labs?

I like my nest thermostat but the new one from ecobee looks better. With sensors in each room it seems that it will work better and nest still hasn't fixed their 2 degree off issue which has gotten very annoying lately. Posted via the Android Central App

Nest is unable to communicate via OpenTherm protocol, so it can't use many Dutch heaters effectively. A shame for such a nice product! Posted via Android Central App
