Huawei to launch its next big thing on April 15 in London

The Chinese manufacturer is inviting press to an event in Central London on April 15, and all eyes are on a possible successor to last year's Ascend P7 as Huawei looks to expand its presence in the European market.

It's unclear exactly what form the next Huawei flagship will take, though recent Huawei efforts like the Honor 6 Plus show the potential of the firm's hardware, with impressive build quality and unique additions like dual 8-megapixel rear cameras. Whatever happens, we'll be live from London on launch day to bring you full coverage — and what we presume will be our first look at the Ascend P8.

  • I think next big thing is still trademarked lol Posted via the Android Central App
  • It would be nice if it is the rumored Nexus device, preferably a Nexus 7, built around their MediaPad X2 7" smartphone.
  • Just no. 5.2 - 5.5 is enough for a "normal" smartphone. I am not saying that there cannot be a 7" phone, just if Nexus is going to be a one a year then it needs to stay in the range of other flagships
  • It sounds like you want the new Samsung Galaxy S6. I want the new "not normal" Nexus 7 7" smartphone.
  • Good for you... Nobody gives a shit. Posted via the Android Central App
