Get half-off one season of any TV season or movie with this sweet Google Play offer

Tons of exciting new shows are hitting the airwaves this season, as are new seasons of shows we already know and love! Whether you want to catch up on The Flash (opens in new tab) before Tuesday's Music Meister episode, cook up some nostalgia on Good Eats (opens in new tab) or you just want to grab the complete Batman The Animated Series (opens in new tab), Google Play is giving some users a splendid deal on Google Play TV right now, and other users half-off on a movie.
Where was this during Stella last week?!
Google Play is currently offering (opens in new tab) half-off on any single season of any TV show, HD or SD. It's a one-time discount that uses the Redeem code N7RLS2XPXQWLE0PLCNMEKR, so choose carefully. If you want to increase your bang for your buck, it's worth mentioning that this promo works on multi-season packs, like the complete Batman TAS we mentioned above, or on Seasons 1-5 of Game of Thrones (opens in new tab), if you need to really catch up and missed that free SD copy of Season 5 (opens in new tab) from yesterday.
Update: It seems these deals are available to all users but rather to some based on several factors including purchase history. If you don't see the half-off TV season or half-off movie banner in the Google Play Store, it seems you have unfortunately missed out this round.
We can also get a movie half-off (opens in new tab) as well, if you need to stock up on Oscar-winners or maybe Beauty and the Beast (opens in new tab) before you go watch the new one.
This offer is good from now until April 15th, so if your show hasn't started yet, you can just hang on to this code for the next month.

You have good taste in cooking shows Ara

I try.

I don't think this is working. I followed the instructions per link and Google's read more instructions and was still charged full price.

I don't see season 5 for free. is it not free for the US?
-
By the time I went looking for the free season 5, I'd already redeemed the half-off coupon so it wasn't showing as free for me anymore. Also, HD is not free, just the SD.
-
Season 5 is no longer free. Damn, that was fast.
-
Yea, i tried everything i could..... dang it. I haven't even redeemed the coupon yet. if I even can get that :/
-
Welp, I've posted the code in the article and the comments. I still can't get the film one to show up for me, but I hope it works for you.
-
Yea, odd, i can't get the code either. :( so sad. i get the messaging, but no code. haha. oh well. next time i will be faster. Also, I tried your code, saying it expired or something.
-
Are you referring to GoT? Season 5 is free, but for SD. HD is $34.99.
-
It was saying $28.99. now it says free, but getting an error trying to process it. "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later."
-
Ahh, now I see that. I wonder why it's doing that?
-
I don't think this offer applies to everyone.. Google's fine print reads: "This offer is open to specific Google Play users based on purchase history." It's right there on the TV or Movie offer page -- click "Read More" and read the whole thing. You'll find this language right before the links to terms and conditions. I suspect this is why I am not being prompted to add a reward or finding any codes to redeem.

I think the poster above migh be right about it not working for everyone. I tried and it keeps telling me invalid code
-
Article has been updated. And my hopes of a half-life movie have been dashed. Darn. Oh well, half of a season of Tangled is still a sweet sweet offer for me.
-
It's showing up for me as a banner in the Movies & TV main page of the Play Store. It reads "Special Offer For Chromecast Users."
-
even weirder i just checked my main page and i have a special offer for 75% off any SINGLE EPISODE, its a welcome back offer. weird
-
None of these are available for me. Code didn't work either. Guess I'm already too good a customer.
