This is why I wish I lived somewhere. All I can get for prepaid is shitty AT&T and Verizon. At least AT&T is reasonably affordable for prepaid but the phone selection sucks compared to Virgin Mobile...

You can get a Straight talk sim card from straighttalksim.com .. It runs on AT&T's network (or tmobile if you chose) And you can use ANY GSM phone that has AT&T bands (most of them) Theres no better selection then that :D. and its $45 for "Unlimited" everything. Im running a Galaxy S II i9100 on it, and my mom has a Sony Xperia Arc S on it , both work fine.

For those who want to keep their $25 plan, I guess that's the only upgrade possible. I will pass.
The HTC 3D will come after May 27th forcing to switch to the $35 plan.

why would they even announce this at the same time as the Evo V? who is the market for this? people who feel like they want a Optimus V with Google Wallet?

New customers who just want a low end android phone, that probably would have got the optimus v when signing up if this didnt come around.. Or current customers with Dumb/feature phones who want a low end smartphone to upgrade to. There is a market for this. And the Evo V is $299 well this is $150 and will probably be found for $120 at radioshack etc.

Google Wallet on a pre-paid phone.

Sprint's and it's subsidiaries are making NFC a big reality.

This is just what Google Wallet needed. Being first to market with a wide range of devices is good for market saturation.

OK, seriously?...............seriously?............SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Apple go after Samsung when LG does this? Really Apple. Sore losers.

Pre-orders? WHY??? I mean, this phone will probably sell well for what it is, but it's definitely no pre-order material. We can wait until it is available to buy it.
