Verizon Galaxy Nexus

Want to see Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Nexus training materials that are going out to indirect retailers? Sure thing. Gotcha covered. None of this contains and offical release date or official pricing, but it's a fun look at what employees are seeing. Much, much more after the break.

Thanks, anon!

atleast this time the nexus is actually a nexus and not a galaxy s running froyo, and the vivid is the right color instead of white like it was in the other document.

pin or pass the person needs to know it. Face unlock can be unlocked by a picture. besides as you can see by the demos the face unlock is not perfect as it sometimes wont unlock for the person using it. I would call this less secure and less reliable then a pattern of course i dont use any for myself.

What if your partner grab the phone while you are sleeping? easy to unlock but since your eyes are most likely to be closed, it probably won't work lol

(Potential call driver)"I can't find a setting on my phone"
Answer: "The settings menu in ICS has been organized into groups."

W.T.F? That answers absolutely nothing!

What's the bit about using more than one battery - "may have less than an optimal performance?" Due to Nfc in the battery. What does this really mean?

Yeah, I'm curious about this too. It says something about 'tokens' used every time the battery is swapped. Wtf does that mean?

The heading in the first image cracks me up. "First in the world to offer Ice Cream Sandwich." The millions overseas who are holding their GSM Nexi would think otherwise.

Mine was shipped today on Virgin Canada should arrive Wed. Not to often us Canadians get a phone before the US.

Google really needs to fix their music app, at least on the phones, I never used the tablet app. The UI is clunky, bad controls, can't edit the play-queue (automatic FAIL in my book!), no lockscreen controls, constant lag, and...it just sucks! Seriously, with all that cloud-music stuff they've been showing off you'd think Google would add some basic features into their actual music player, especially when there are tons of reviews in the Marketplace asking for them.

I like how they dont compare the phone to the Rezzound and the Droid.

The possible difficulties using NFC with battery swapping seems interesting.

Spec wise though the nexus doesn't look too impressive compared to the other phones in that lineup.

No mention of added fees for the hotspot either. 30 bucks that I could toggle on and off monthly for unlimited data and hotspot would be nice.
