Soon you'll worry more about snowfalls than phone falls. https://t.co/hXPZYm91p2— Verizon (@verizon) October 23, 2015
Leading up to its expected October 27 launch, the hype is strong with the Droid Turbo 2. To keep that train going, Verizon has put out another little teaser video for the smartphone, further propagating the idea that this one may be shatterproof.
Alongside the video teaser seen above, Verizon says that soon we'll "worry more about snowfalls than phone falls." That sounds great as far as shatter proofing goes, but what about water proofing? Is snow suddenly going on an all-out offensive on the internals?
All kidding aside, it looks like the upcoming Droid Turbo 2 is going to be an interesting smartphone to watch out for. In a leak from earlier this week, we saw mention of the shatterproof screen alongside some possible other specs, including a 48-hour battery life and quick charging that can net you up to 13 hours of charge in 15 minutes. The leak also pointed to a 21MP camera on the back, a 5MP shooter up front, and expandable memory up to 2TB.
Nothing is official until Verizon and Motorola say so, however, so be sure to keep it locked here on October 27 for all of the latest on the next Droid(s).
