Sprint ZTE VitalSprint today announced the mid-range, 5-inch ZTE Vital, available June 14 for $99 on contract. The Vital includes a not-quite next-gen Qualcomm MSM8960 processor running at 1.5 GHz, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and a 5-inch IPS display at 1280x720 resolution. It's got a 2,500 mAh removable battery, 1GB of RAM and a microSD card to expand on the 8GB internal storage.

The Vital is LTE-capable, of course, and sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 1MP shooter up front. It's also got the Sprint ID theme-switcher on board.

So happy to see more and more pure Android phones. Hope it continues.

This is not bad if you don't mind storage.
I mean... a year or two ago, they used to have phones with this much storage in flagships-- people managed back then!

Now the only thing would be apps 2 SD...

He didn't say it was. The mid-range is getter more and more attractive. 1.5GHz, 5 inch screens. They have to do something to keep from under status but it's still packed with good hardware.
