United Kingdom

The other night we got a tease from Sony Ericsson, which finally provided us with an announcement date for the Xperia Play

Since then, most of the carriers in the UK have been announcing that they will carry the new device from Sony Ericsson.  Thus far, the Xperia Play has been confirmed by Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, Three, and O2.

This is great news for UK residents as they will have an array of choices to choose from if they are considering the Xperia Play. After months of speculation and rumors, it looks like we're finally close to getting the Xperia Play. Stay tuned!

Althouh this would be a neat option, I highly doubt this will be coming to VZW. If it was not for all the advertising, I would have said that it wasn't coming to the US at all.

It's a shame that it probably won't be coming to all of the US GSM+UMTS carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.), it would have been fantastic if it was available for T-Mobile, because then I can get a discount on my monthly bill if I got one of those off contract. It'll probably only be available on AT&T. :(
