Motorola has announced that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is now available for Moto X Style in India.

Late last week, Motorola's David Schuster had announced initial deployment of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade for Moto X Style in both Brazil and India as well as 2014 Moto X (2nd Gen) in Brazil in a Google+ post, and a few users had reported getting the update.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow includes new features and changes to Moto Enhancements. With the OS natively adding support for "Do not disturb" and data migration, Motorola's retiring its proprietary Moto Assist and Motorola Migrate, which provide a similar functionality. The company is also retiring the Google Chrome extension found in Motorola Connect.

The company recommends installing this update when the phone battery is at least 50 percent charged and when connected to a Wi-Fi network.
