LG L70

Cricket is bringing in another entry-level device into the fold called the LG Optimus L70 real soon. This one has already landed on MetroPCS after making its debut at Mobile World Congress.

The L70 isn't a whole lot to look at: you've got a 4.5-inch 800 x 400 display, dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera, and 1 GB of RAM. Of course, expect a reasonable pricetag on this one one; Cricket will be offering the L70 for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate starting June 6. Hit up Cricket for a closer look.

Anybody in the market for a budget phone? Does the L70 catch your eye, or is it just too hard to compete with the Moto E?

This beats moto e. U can get lg f6 for 99 bucks and unlock it and destroy moto e and better value than moto g.

I'll take the Moto G

I'm the kind of guy who stops a microwave at one second to feel like a bomb defuser.

I just got the Optimus L90 on Tmobile and its really outstanding for a budget phone. I don't think this one is worth the money though. L90 has a quad core processor and really nice and bright 4.7 inch display, even if the resolution isnt 720p, it's easy to overlook as i'm no pixel density snob. All in all, install Nova to add a stock android interface over LG's, though it runs Kit Kat out of the box, and ive got a solid performer all around, and battery life is great too. Off contract, L90 is worth the extra money over the L70 if you get good coverage with T-Mobile in your area.

Why is it as of late that when ac talks about a new device sometimes they don't say which processor

Nothing comes close to the Moto G or Moto E. I personally am not in the market for a budget smartphone, but if I were id get the Moto G LTE version. I love my Moto X!
