LG's latest flexible handset will be available in India later this month, with the Watch Urbane and mid-range devices such as Magna, Spirit and Leon following suit in April.
The G Flex 2 is priced at Rs. 55,000 ($876) for the 32GB model, and will be available in both Flamenco Red and Platinum Silver color variants. Specs on offer include a 5.5-inch full-HD P-OLED display, 2.0GHz Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB RAM, microSD card slot, 13MP camera with OIS and laser autofocus, 2.1MP front camera, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and a 3,000mAh battery. The high asking price for the device will turn out to be a hindrance to buyers in the country, although the street price of the G Flex 2 is likely to be slightly lower.
The Watch Urbane smartwatch will be making its way to India in April, with LG yet to announce pricing or a specific launch date. The South Korean manufacturer is also set to launch its latest mid-tier devices running Android 5.0 — Magna, Spirit and Leon — in the country next month. No word on when the fourth device, the LG Joy, will be available as yet. To know what these devices offer, be sure to read our hands-on post.
