Huawei U8230 Android Phone Announced

Posted on Wednesday, Jun 17, 2009 by Casey Chan

It's been a long trek covering Huawei and their plan to deliver an Android Phone, but the goal is finally in sight. Meet the Huawei U8230, the beautiful phone that will be running Android. Huawei announced the U8230 (the phone pictured above) at CommunicAsia and that it'll pack a 3.5inch touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and a lovely 1500 mAh battery. A detailed look at the photo might suggest that there is also a front-facing camera and your usual Android hardware buttons and trackball.

The Huawei U8230 is expected to launch the second half of this year in Asia and Europe. No details on the US have been released but earlier rumors had T-Mobile pegged as the carrier. Pricing is unknown.

Even though so little is known about this device, man, we think this might be the upcoming Android device we're most excited about. What do you guys think?

Will this have the Rosie UI??? then it could be amazing.....

This is indeed a sexy phone. I wonder when other carriers are going to start picking up android, namely AT&T.

replica handbags are located in all major cities such as Shanghai, New York, etc, you may travel to these cities and get one for yourself.

I’d really like to know what type of screen it is. Resolution. Memory built in. Is there a SD slot. Come on…give details...
