EE SIM

29 total markets to be lit up from today to Christmas

It has been just over a month since EE's last LTE expansion, and now the U.K. carrier is adding 10 more markets to the network. Going live today are the following markets:

  • Bath
  • Bournemouth
  • Brighton
  • Cambridge
  • Darlington
  • Newcastle-under-Lyme
  • Northampton
  • Poole
  • Portsmouth
  • Redcar

Now this doesn't come as a huge surprise to us, as our own Alex and Richard have been seeing EE LTE in some of the above markets prior to today, but it's always good to know when the expansion is official. EE is claiming that the expansion isn't done this year though, and that 19 more markets will be lit up with the higher-speed data by Christmas. Hit the break for the full list of areas.

So where is the competition for the Note 3? Oh right there isn't any...

Could finally see 4G in Plymouth by Christmas? Hmm, we'll see...

That is good that they are expanding 4G I suppose but the high prices are not my cup of hot chocolate... Besides 3G is still fast - I am perfectly fine with those speeds, not everyone has 3G so why can't they finish things properly before jumping on the next bandwagon?

4g ..don't make me laugh ..I haven't even got a reliable 3g service where I live and it's only 30 miles from Birmingham ...networks are only intrested in big cities ..they don't give a stuff about rural areas..
They still take the same money from our contracts though don't they ...although we are not getting the service ..
It stinks ...and is so unfair ..
Same goes for broadband too..
So don't believe what they say about their coverage....it's all bunkum.....
