Streaming all weekend: Coachella on YouTube

At its Coachella page, YouTube is hosting three different channels for the festival, which should make it easy to find something you enjoy at nearly any point over the weekend. Perhaps best of all, not only can you catch the likes of Bad Religion and Fitz and the Tantrums on your Android phone in your down time, but you can also pump the music through your TV via a Chromecast or Android TV box.

If you're searching for some guitar-fueled entertainment for the weekend, you can hit up that source link below to take in the whole festival with the added bonus that you won't be covered in sweat and beer (unless you choose to be) by the end.

  • Hipsters gather together in a mass collection of un-mainstreamness Posted via the Android Central App
  • I can't speak to the attendees, but the music seems to be a fairly eclectic mix. Several bands that are worth the watch. Wubba lubba dub dub!
  • Sounds like the perfect place for a tactical nuke. Posted via the Android Central App
  • What an asshole comment. $78 million dollars to the local environment is a bad thing? Posted via the Android Central App
  • Except for the fact you pretty much have to be mainstream to play at Coachella. And you know, because AC/DC, Bad Religion, Jack White, Florence + The Machine are all so underground. This is the music festival for rich kids and celebrities to attend. It's byfar one of the most expensive and upscale festivals there is.
  • You obviously don't know what a hipster is.
  • Clicked to find out what coachella was... Saw Bad Religion and decided to check out the lineup. A few good bands there, mostly Bad Religion and AC/DC. Wubba lubba dub dub!
  • No hologram 2pac, no thanks.... Posted via the Android Central App

  • I'll rather be their then be watching it streaming. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Conversely I rather be watching from home. No sunburn risk, no heat or crowds, no travel, no line for the bathroom, and best of all, it's free and I get to sleep in my own bed! Choice is great! Posted via Android Central App
  • Seriously no ac/dc live streaming and Drake won't be shown Sunday either. All the other bands are being shown live though. Sony Z3 via the Android Central App
  • I think you're forgetting about Circa Survive sir
  • Circa Survive are there?! Posted via Android Central App
  • I was watching last night, and I didn't recognize any bands on any of the channels. Too bad the better acts aren't being streamed.
  • Just because you don't know any doesn't mean they are unknowns. Bad Religion, Hosier, Florence in the Machine, Axwell, David Gutetta are some of the more standout acts this year. Last year they had Pet Shop Boys which was pretty cool. I am hoping for Erasure next year and Depeche Mode would be amazing there but I don't see that happening. Posted via Android Central App
  • I know those bands, but none of them were on the YouTube stream.
  • Actually ALL of the acts I listed for this year were in fact part of the YouTube livestream. I watched only a little of Florence but watched the entire set of all the others. And a whole lot of other stuff from acts I didn't know, which is kind of the point...to be turned on to new (to you) stuff. I have a whole bunch of new songs and artist to add to my Spotify now. Mission accomplished Coachella. :) Posted via Android Central App
