Sony Ericsson Android 'Rachael' XPERIA X3 Teased in Video

As we already know, the Sony Ericsson 'Rachael' XPERIA X3 Android Phone will be announced at Sony Ericsson's 'extraordinary and magical' event scheduled for November 3rd. We've been looking forward to this device since the day it was first leaked, with our excitement multiplying with every leak.

The above video serves as a teaser for the event and you can see the beautiful lines and lovely design of the 'Rachael'. We know you're excited about the Motorola DROID (we are too!), but we think that Sony Ericsson might sway you differently. We haven't heard of an official carrier attached yet but our eyes are wide open for November 3rd.

What do you guys think? Do you think it'll be able to compete with the DROID?

  • Video works fine, dude.
I find it funny that Xperia is skipping over X2 and going straight to X3 *ahem* I mean X10.
  • Actually, the X2 has already been announced and all that (I don't know if they've started sales yet). The X2 is the WinMo successor to the X1.
  • What US carrier will this phone support for voice and 3G data?
  • The phone looks fab. My phone is a SE and I can't wait to upgrade to a better phone. Will T Mobile carry this phone in the U.S.? I sure hope so or I will have to buy unlocked....
  • Dumb question: I have Verizon and use a BlackBerry now. Will an Android smart phone work with my company's Microsoft Outlook-based enterprise server?
  • Please tell me this phone will be GSM and will at least work on T-Mobile's 3G network...
