Samsung's Unpacked event is right around the corner, and we cannot wait for it to get here. We're anticipating a lot of different gadgets to be unveiled, ranging from the new Galaxy Buds Live earbuds all the way up to the Galaxy Fold 2.

Along with those devices, rumor has it that Samsung will also unveil a couple of new tablets — including the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+. The S7+ is the model that has us the most interested, as it's rumored to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 120Hz AMOLED display, S Pen support, and more.

Some of our AC forum members recently got to talking about it, saying:

Anyone excited for the tab S7+? I know I am. Love my tab S6, but I wish it were a tad bigger. Would also be awesome if it comes with 256 storage for the 5G variant like it is rumored to.

I'll be sticking with my Tab S6 for now. I just think that in the tablet market, Android tablet apps are second fiddle to ipads. There are some tablet apps that are half-baked (like Amazon app) but missing some apps as well. For the price, the S7 is underwhelming to me. I use my S6 more than my iPad or surface but it's still mainly for reading. If I end up getting the new Fold 2,it might be time...

I'm definitely looking forward to the Tab S7. I had the Note Pro 12.2 tablet that I LOVED! I need to see for myself the display difference between the 7 and 7+ before pulling the trigger on one over the other, though.

Couldn't care less personally, I'd buy an iPad or Surface Pro long before I bought another Android tablet, too many issues with apps on Android tablets to spend serious money on an Android tablet.

  • Too big. I want something Nexus 9 sized, not XPS 13" sized.
  • Nope. iPad or nothing for tablets I'm afraid.
  • No. I'll probably wait a couple more years. My S6 does what I need it to but when it stops doing that, I'll look into a newer model. Now when Microsoft gets their act together with ARM, technology I'll leave my S6 in a heartbeat.
  • Absolutely not, I'm getting an iPad which are superior to sAndroid tablets which are second rate next to the iPad.
  • Yes, to upgrade my TabS4 and Tab S2's, all of which are still going strong.
  • I've read somewhere that ipads are superior to android tablets....
Now where did I read that ?¿?¿?¿
  • iPads are better than Android tablets, for one Apple put thought into optimising apps to make use of the bigger screen of the iPad and iPad OS is better than the poor experience with Android on tablets and then there's the update problem on Android tablets being much worse than Android phones.
  • Definitely getting the S7+, love the S6 bigger screen will be awesome.
  • I was, but then I read about the LCD screen on the smaller tablet. I'll wait and see what actually happens, but I have a s5e that I really love and handles most tasks well enough, but I'm not going to downgrade the screen just for a faster processor. (Plus the side mount fingerprint scanner annoys me, so the lack of an in-screen reader is another cut corner that makes me not want it.) I hate when companies equate small with cheap.
