At the very beginning of its Unpacked event yesterday, Samsung didn't waste a single minute and kicked things off by unveiling the Galaxy Z Flip.
The Z Flip is Samsung's second folding phone, and similar to the Motorola RAZR, it takes the shape of a traditional 6.7-inch smartphone that can be folded in half to become an ultra-portable square. Not only is the form factor different from the Galaxy Fold, but Samsung is also using ultra-thin glass for the folding display instead of plastic — helping to make the Z Flip substantially more durable.
Taking a look through the AC forums, here's what some of our members have to say about the new gadget.
Now, we want to hear from you — Are you going to buy the Galaxy Z Flip?
No. Cost too much. I will not pay more than $500 for a cell phone given the quality and specs of mid-range phones that are available.
With the quality of the much improved mid-rangers is spending 1,000 dollars really nessacerry? Nah, especially not the average Tom, Dick or Mary. The base model S20 starts at 999.oo. That's alot of moo-la, yikes. Sure they look & sound like the cats meow but will definitely dent your pocketbook!
Damn David how old are you? The cat's meow? Did that phrase survive the 40s? If so itfor sure didn't make it thru the 50s. Hmm maybe you are just retrolingual. I'm sometimes that way myself. Comes from being an old movie buff.
I want to but it's a first gen product and I seriously miss my S Pen; so I'm not sure. I'll probably wait to see what the new Note has and the leaks for the 2nd gen Z.
No. But its very interesting. Enjoying my S10+ right now.
Heeelllllllllll, no! Nope.
