Huawei has received approval from the FCC on a new device which is very similar to the recently announced Huawei P8.

Huawei P8 variant receives FCC approval in US

Huawei officially announced the P8 smartphone today, and the FCC has now approved a new smartphone which bears stunning resemblance to the device. From the image included in the FCC listing there are a few minor changes to note, such as the camera flash moving to the opposite side. Also detailed in the listing is a limited set of LTE bands, as well as tri-band WCDMA, which will allow for T-Mobile support. .

The Huawei P8 features a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Inside the device there is an 8-core 64-bit processor along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The battery is 2680 mAh and on the back of the device is a 13MP camera, while the front has an 8MP camera. A full list of the specs for this device can be found here.

Huawei had announced that they planned to launch the US-variant of the P8 through unlocked channels beginning in May
