Verizon...WHERE ARE YOU?!

alarson83 says:

No kidding. F'ing A verizon, get it together.

Verizon doobie do, where are you? We could use an update from you now.

Eugenev414 says:

second ... and about time!

Bishounen says:

Agreed! Been waiting a long time for this one.

So sorry Verizon users, but you have no cause to complain. You got the Galaxy Nexus a full 6 months before us Sprint users did. It's only fair we get to go first now. It's our turn.

tatersalad says:

It stands to reason we should have had the update before you then as well.

mwara244 says:

Its about time we all get it at the same time without shotty ass carrier interference. Verizon shouldn't be kicking and screaming dragging its feet for every single update to every phone on their network. They need to invest in their tech department that test and push's updates in a timely fashion. Its the 21st century and technology is here to stay, along with updates in software that keep the technology more productive for its users. Verizon's still living in the flip phone era.

Orion78 says:

Wow hopefully this is true. Sprint been very silent and then...boom!! Out of nowhere.

Nev says:

And here come the VZW complaints! Wait...too late.

Gekko says:

it's good to be a Sprint customer!!!!!!

jj14x says:

well, it is better to be a Sprint customer than a Verizon customer (not as lucky as GSM Nexus owners, but hey, at least we aren't last)

Assuming this turns out to be true of course :)

curley says:

Vzw gs3 will have jelly bean before the nexus!

IcerC says:

Wonderful! Can't wait!

jlo8720 says:

Bishounen says:

F for "Fabulous"?

Wookie Claws says:

Well this could be good news for use VZW GNex peeps... the Sprint version got it's 4.0.4 update shortly before the VZW Nexus did. Here's hoping at least :)

daniel2744 says:

If this is true, now i'm faced with a dilemma? my sprint galaxy nexus is already running a jellybean rom and i have my stuff set up. So do i make a backup and flash back to stock ics and get the update or just wait? either way i'm excited

jj14x says:

If you are happy with your current ROM, use it! Is there a reason to go stock?

daniel2744 says:

yeah thats true. i will just wait for the dev to update the rom. paranoidandroid is aweasome!!! lol

If this is true then sg3 update could be right around the corner.

Ryuuie says:

We should all keep in mind that the last time we got a so-called "internal memo" for the ICS update, it was ONLY for Sprint employees while Sprint customers had to wait for another 3+ weeks to receive the update.

Don't hold your breath people.

All this confirms is the Nexus S 4G and Galaxy Nexus WILL receive the update eventually. It does not confirm when it will happen at all.

siniority says:

I'll believe it when I see it...

Mobius360 says:

Glad to hear something good about my GNex, hopefully this comes true this week and they turbo charge their LTE roll out.

xdalaw says:

How about a Sprint Factory Image for their GNex, too?

smith2sc says:

Make this happen for the new Evo LTE HTC/Sprint.
