Xperia FIFA World Cup

A day ahead of the kickoff ceremony of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Sony has unveiled an Xperia theme for the event. While the theme was leaked in its entirety last month, it is now officially available for download in the Play Store.

The theme features a green on yellow color scheme and has a football icon for the app drawer. Check out the gallery below to see the theme in action:

Sony is a major sponsor for the upcoming event, with the Xperia Z2 designated as the official smartphone of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. To celebrate the occasion, Sony has released a video highlighting the display of the Xperia Z2, which it says will allow you to "feel every detail wherever you are." Sony is also running a Football Challenge contest for Xperia owners through which you can win prizes by predicting results of various matches. You can participate through the Xperia Lounge app.

Sony launches the Xperia FIFA World Cup Brazil theme

Just searched for this on my Z1s which can do themes and no where to be found. It seems that this is a Z2 only theme.

Just found it. Used the android central app on my phone and just selected the link from the article and it took me to the play store. Weird that when searching the play store nothing came up but the link on here took me directly to it on the play store. Oh well, I do like the theme so I'm happy I found it. Looks really nice on my Z1s.

System wide. The background menus, status bar, icons, even the on screen buttons.

after install on my Xperia TX I see no wallpaper, just black.

It changes the color scheme on the menus, etc, but i got no wallpaper.

The keyboard and the theme engine are one of my favorite features of the Xperia z2, I really like this phone
