Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

While this week's Galaxy S5 Mini announcement did not mention any specific pricing or availability details, UK retailer Phones 4u has stated that it will stock the device once in becomes available in the country.

The retailer is not giving out any additional details, only saying that further information regarding the handset would be "revealed at a later date."

The Galaxy S5 Mini features a similar design as the standard Galaxy S5, and comes with the best hardware we've seen on a "mini" variant from Samsung thus far. All the sensors that were featured on the Galaxy S5, which include the fingerprint scanner and the heart rate monitor, are present on the Galaxy S5 Mini, and the handset also includes LTE Category 4 connectivity.

To see how it compares spec-wise to HTC's offering in this segment, the One Mini 2, go here.

If you like what you see in the Galaxy S5 Mini, Phones 4u has a coming soon page that allows you to register your interest in the device.

What do you guys think would be a fair price for the Galaxy S5 Mini?

It'll definitely start around that price point. I think s4 mini was around 350 to begin with. I won't be surprised of it gets below the 300 pound mark within 2 months. My guess is they price it high off contract so more people go for the on contract price where it's maybe £20-25 a month. I think £250 is the right price and would be a hit at that price.
