Motorola has launched the Moto X Play in India, with the phone set to go on sale starting midnight at Flipkart. The 16GB model will retail for ₹18,499 ($278), while the 32GB variant will set you back ₹19,999 ($300). It is advisable to get the higher storage model given the lack of a huge difference in cost.
As is the case with marquee launches, Flipkart is offering several incentives for customers purchasing the handset, including e-gift vouchers worth ₹1,000, along with BookMyShow tickets worth ₹500 and MakeMyTrip vouchers.
The Moto X Play offers a 5.5-inch Full HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM, microSD slot, 21MP camera at the back with phase detection autofocus, 5MP front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, NFC, LTE and a massive 3,630mAh battery. On the software front, you get Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
You'll be able to purchase the handset starting midnight IST from the link below. Interested in what's on offer with the Moto X Play? Be sure to check out our review:
