Motorola Metro PCS Android phone

It's good to see the regional carriers staying in the Android game, it above is a Motorola phone reportedly destined for Metro PCS. It's a four-row horizontal sliding QWERTY that's a bit reminiscent of the Cliq. The home button's been moved left (and down) but still has that familiar ring around it, and the search button has returned (huzzah!). Specs are said to be Android 2.1 with Motoblur (presumably the same new Blur that's on the Flipout?), a 3.1-megapixel camera and a 600MHz processor. [Android Guys]

Metro PCS bringing a Motorola slider with Android 2.1 and Motoblur

Holy crap! METRO PCS getting into the Android game! I can see a lot of friends of mines switching their Samsung Freenode for this. But their service gots to get better i.e. reception and less dropped calls.

i can see alot of my friends switching from their garbage of phones! This is nice for them... 600mhz... not bad.. this thing will be overclocked soon enough... soon enough..

And on top of that Metro is also planning to...ahem..launch their 4g network LTE(LONG TERM EVOLUTION)like Verizon but i dunno?? Heck their BB Curve doesn't even work right on their network. They should seriously focus on tweaking their network by 1.get their own towers or 2. go on wifi towers to make calls.

Wow. If I wasn't locked in to Verizon with my Droid and a 350 ETF I would seriously consider cutting my bill in half and grabbing this.

The local cincinnati bell is getting the htc blaze with 1.6 pretty sure which atleast has the better market.

I got the evo n im paying $60 cuz got four lines at $200/4+$10= cheap for best phone and cincy area gets 4G in august according to sprint rep, i know its not 100%
