LG Share the Genius

A mic on a stage, eh? Not sure what LG's got up its sleeves for May 1 in New York City, but it wouldn't surprise us in the least to see the excellent LG Optimus G Pro make an appearance in its U.S. form, especially with recent rumblings of it hitting AT&T shortly thereafter. (Check out our mini review of the Korean version if you've yet to do so.) "Share the Genius" likely is a nod to the software features on the phone, which LG is more than happy to tell you it had before its Korean neighbor. And "Capture the Spotlight in True Brilliance" fits perfectly with the Optimus G Pro's excellent 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display.

So, yeah. Set your calendars, folks.

Or maybe Google had them make the Nexus 5, after how great the Nexus 4 was.

Um it is a great phone. Is it perfect? Fuck no. But nothing is perfect every device has its negatives.

I hope its the 5.5" OGP, and not the 5.0"....

It's my understanding the 5.0" and 5.5" are the exact same phone just one is smaller. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't know of any performance gap between the two sizes or any significant difference in battery life. Personally, I wish they would release both sizes here. The 5.0" to compete against the S4/HTC One and the 5.5" with a stylus to go head-to-head with the Note II.

Way to copy Samsung...what's next Korean models to show off your phones???

They should use Japanese models just for kicks. See if anybody notices. lol

Doesn't have a time....Hopefully it's early so I'll still be able to go get the S4 if I don't like what I see. If this turns out to be a 5" G Pro then I'll likely go with this over the S4.

I really hope it the Optimus G Pro. It would solve my upgrade woes. Up to date hardware with a big screen.
