ATT LTE

AT&T has flipped the switch and has turned on its LTE network in eight more locations.

Here are the cities that will now be able to experience LTE:

In addition, AT&T has also expanded its LTE network in Miami-Dade County, continuing to bring it to more customers in south Florida.

It's always good to see more cities gaining access to higher speeds, and if you're a customer in any of these places, we'd love to hear how fast your speeds are now!

Noticed LTE this morning in detroit, took screenshots and immediately posted in the AC forums :) Getting between 15 and 36mbps down depending on signal strength.

Already live in Cincinnati since Friday. Of course I've already blown my 5GB so I'm only pulling .5MBPS and can't enjoy it til the 26th

As a suffering Sprint user in Detroit - no 4G; crap 3G speeds - this has my interest but a quick glance at the prices are enough to make me scurry back to my miserable hovel of service.

My company has a 20% discount, but the AT&T site is a Catch-22 of detecting I'm in an eligible corporate location, but blocking out access to shop unless I set up an ID which I can't do because I don't have an AT&T mobile # already. How are people supposed to switch when they can't even get into the store to window shop?!?

EDIT: Stopped at an AT&T store on the way home and the discount applies to the voice and data, but not the ripoff texting package. All it, it's probably going to cost me $15/mo. more than my current Sprint bill and if that means getting decent speeds for once, I'm in.

I like how they mention Detroit in the title like there are a lot of people here...lol

Double Post, sorry.

I live in Downriver and work for BBYM and I can tell you that there are a lot of people with AT&T. About to have a lot of happy people who've been jealous of Verizon's 4G now. Frankly, the more LTE being offered the better, now waiting on Sprint....and T-Mobile I guess.

Hmm I live in Miami Dade and have had LTE almost everywhere I go for months now. While spulling down 15-25 mb/s down and 10 up

I work in Auburn Hills Michigan, very close to the Pontiac Silverdome. I too noticed the LTE signal this morning on my way into work. I've been playing with it all day long, and it seems as though my average speeds are around 40 Mbps download and 11 Mbps upload. Traveling home towards Flint Michigan, the signal faded back to HSPA+ at around mile marker 90 on I-75. I am indeed a very happy camper right now!
