Pokémon Go Medals: How to unlock bronze, silver and gold for everything!

The Medal system in Pokémon Go is a little self serving for the moment. You don't gain anything by unlocking them, aside from a little note in your account saying you've unlocked them. That means there's a list of accomplishments you and your friends can compete on unlocking, and obviously the one with the most Medals unlocked is the best Pokémon Go player right?

Every Pokémon Go medal comes in Bronze, Silver, and gold. Here's what you need to do in order to unlock each of these Medals!

First things first — where to check your Medal progress

To see where you are in your personal Medal journey, tap on your character icon in the bottom left corner of Pokémon Go. When your avatar pops up, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. You'll see all of your Medals and their current progress. This list is updated every time you play, so you can see how close you are to reaching a goal by the completion of the ring around the medal.

  • Seriously though.. I think you have time to right one more article on "How to delete Pokémon Go and get back to real life" and then go to bed an don't wake up please.. Posted via the Pokémon central app
  • >right
  • this site is now going to be ignored until they get back to android stories and enough of this pokemon go crap, seriously do you guys think this is at all interesting to the majority of your readers?

  • Hmm...worry about what we think? Or ride this Click$ Train till it runs out of steam!!!! Woo! Hoo! Posted via the Android Central App
  • You understand that this site lives and dies by things like search hits, right? While this may be annoying to us (and it is even to me, despite playing the game), this is their primary business: make tons of articles about every nuanced feature of anything popular, so when people search for that, they're on top of it. They already do this with incredibly mundane things like "how to change your Android wallpaper," and other settings that we all figured out on day one of owning an Android phone. They're just trying to cover every possible base by which to get search hits. If you weren't bothered by all the other ways they do this already, then this shouldn't surprise or annoy you.
  • Um... yes that's why I was being sarcastic but opinionly truthful. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Which might be why you're not the person I replied to.
  • Well it's probably going to be the most popular mobile game so far and is going to define a genre in the way WoW did.
  • It should be covered in depth, like WoW, on a gaming site.
  • Mercy, mercy, mercy, please no more Pokemon, I will be good and I will give back all the money i stole and also walk my handicapped neighbours dog. But please, NO MORE POKEMON.
  • Please one more to round up the day. Pokemon tips and tricks? I'm sure you'd come up with something Posted via the Android Central App
  • How about "How Pokemon Go Could Have Prevented 9/11"? It would be just about as relevant.
  • Nexus 2016 rumors? Do we discuss stuff like that anymore or does AC only discuss hiding porno and pokingmen Rodeo time, time to get er on down the road
  • So easily triggered by Pokemon. It's sad. Do you need a safe space? Posted via the Android Central App
  • So easily exited by inhaling large quantities of food all day long...it's sad. Posted via the Android Central App
  • What rumors? It's going to be a phone with phone parts inside, and look vaguely like a phone.
  • This is punishment for all you dbags who were like "ew isn't pokemon for 5 year olds?" You whine too much and we all suffer.
  • No
  • This is what I was searching for, but I think it's incomplete. I have one called "Fisherman." It reads, "Caught () big magikarp." Three for bronze.
  • The list is missing the Skier medal, for ice-type Pokémon And for all the Pokemon GO haters, just try it. It gets you out, shows you all kinds of landmarks and sights you never knew about, gets you walking, why is it so bad?
