The most popular videos of 2010

If a picture's worth 1,000 words, a video's worth at least 10 times that. So let's take a look at our 10 most popular Android videos of the past year. It goes without saying that older videos are more likely to have more views than a newer video. But in boiling down the top 10 most popular, we've got a decent look at the Android spectrum from the 2010. Check it out after the break, and you can see all of our videos at

10. Xperia X10 mini pro hands-on

Sony Ericsson surprised us at its party in Barcelona in February, unveiling the X10 mini and X10 mini pro. Here's our first hands-on in Spain.

9. Samsung Captivate benchmarks

The first high-end phone to hit AT&T, and one of the Samsung Galaxy S class of Android smartphones.

8. Droid Incredible walkthrough

The Droid Incredible easily was one of the top phones of 2010, and in this video we do our initial walkthrough as the phone was announced in April.

7. Droid Incredible multitouch test

Think back to why this was important -- the Nexus One, also an HTC device, used a touchscreen that didn't feature true multitouch. No such problems on the Droid Incredible.

6. Droid X benchmarks tests

One of the biggest and most powerful phones of the year, we put the Droid X up against the Evo 4G with Android 2.1 on the Nexus One with Froyo.

5. Android 2.2. Froyo walkthrough

Announced at Google IO in May, the Froyo builds quickly started leaking out for the Nexus One, which is what we show you here.

4. Android 2.2 on the Evo 4G

Of all the phones to await an upgrade to Android 2.2 in 2010, the Evo 4G was just about at the top of the list. And we got an early preview of Froyo on the Evo. Check it out.

3. Demoing the Samsung Galaxy S software

The Samsung Galaxy S was unveiled at the CTIA conference in March in Las Vegas. We had to go back for a second helping of the new Touchwiz user interface.

2. Hands-on with HTC Evo 4G on Sprint

The Evo 4G was also announced at CTIA in March. And within minutes of its unveiling, we were treated to a hands-on demo with HTC's Eric Lin. It easily was 10 of the most exciting minutes we spent in 2010.

1. Super Mario Bros. live wallpaper

Needless to say, this was one of the coolest live wallpapers we've seen this year, and apparently you guys thought so, too. Side-scrolling action on Android. You can't beat it.
