It's a reunion episode in a few ways!

This week, Jerry, Daniel, Andrew and SPECIAL GUEST Phil Nickinson (aka Modern Dad) start talking about the Google Pixel and end up arguing about BlackBerry. Is this 2011 all over again?

With the Pixel getting an update to Android 7.1.2, it seems that Google is ending updates for the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, two devices released back in 2014. How does that affect you?

And check out Modern Dad to learn more about what's Phil's been up to!

Android Central 323: The BlackBerry drinking game

I thought the video was dropped so you could focus on the quality of the audio. It's not really improved though has it. Is Jerry sat in a fish tank?
Other than that, another entertaining podcast.

You know how Google had wireless charging then got rid of it even though people liked it? Now, you know how Apple is "inventing" wireless charging and Google (and everyone else) will copy it because suddenly people want it? That will probably happen here at some point. A couple other tech sites will introduce video (many already do) and AC will follow along as well.

All that on Blackberry in this podcast, and Kevin isn't even the guest until NEXT week! Is there anything left to say?

I think Phil's redeemed himself after his last couple of appearances on the podcast, particularly that one where he was eating and left early. This time it was a genuine pleasure to listen to him.

Only three phones? We don't need Android Central, then... Just choose one of them and be done with it. Apple, Google, and Samsung all agree that theirs is *perfect.*

I agree. Great show once again. I was sad/mad when John Chen made the jumped to Android, but I thank him now as I am loving my S7 Edge. The Priv was my gateway to a great phone. Glad the AC Podcast can be counted on.
