Announced earlier this year at Mobile World Congress, LG's mid-range Magna is officially up for sale in India for ₹16,500 ($260).

LG Magna

Magna is one of four new mid-range handsets unveiled by the manufacturer at MWC, along with Leon, Joy and Sprint. In terms of hardware, you'll get a 5-inch 720p display, MediaTEk 1.3GHz quad-core MT6582 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, microSD card slot, 8MP camera at the back, 5MP shooter up front and a 2,540mAh battery along with LG's latest UI atop Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. Design-wise, the Magna comes with a gently curved back that fits into the contours of your hand.

There are much more alluring alternatives available in this segment, such as the Moto G 2014 and Xiaomi's recently announced Mi 4i, and we cannot help but wonder that LG has overpriced the Magna considering the hardware on offer.
