Kevin has made himself Employee of the Month for six years straight and we’ve finally had enough. We need new blood to spice things up a bit. Before we start a bigger process of recruitment we want to reach out to you, our community, first.

We have two positions open right now that we need help filling and since we love our community SO MUCH we’re giving you the head start before reaching outside. Do you have what it takes to oust Kevin from the Employee of the Month plaque?

Are you the right person for the job or do you know someone that would be? Right now we are looking for a Medium to Senior PHP developer, ideally with Drupal experience, and a Junior to Medium Web Designer with CSS skills.

Ideally you are based in the US or Canada. Miami, NYC, LA or Winnipeg are a plus but not necessary as we are a virtual team.

Email hireme@mobilenations.com with a short introduction, why you would be suited for the job, why you want to work for Mobile Nations and your Resume.

We will not be able to respond to everyone individually but rest assured we’ll be looking at every single email.

Good luck!

David Lundblad
Design Director, Mobile Nations

I'd do some phone reviews if Phil wants to hook me up! ; )

I'd love to work for ya. I have the CSS skills and am a good writer, but I have attention deficit and I can already see myself forgetting I'd be working here and forget to post, etc...

As stupid as this may sound, my wife and I could team up on it. I'm a big-time phone geek, and she is getting her Masters in English plus she is a part-time marketer for a local service contractor, which includes some lite web design. Just to throw that out there.

No part of your post sounds stupid brother. I say go for it.

I don't personal know her but you should look into Theangelofmusic1989 on YouTube. Her real name is Erica and I am pretty sure she's in CA.
Her video reviews of cellphone and cellphone accessories are very indepth...I am not to sure IF its something she would be interested but its just a thought.

These are Web Design and development posts guys. David is our man who looks after that side of the operation. Not writing vacancies :-)

Erica is awesome, but they aren't looking for more phone reviewers.

I am a only Junior in High school but I am certified in Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 with some CSS background. Not much knowledge on CSS but I pick up these things pretty easily. Also by the end of this school year I will be getting certified in CIW (Certified Interenet Web Professional). I have also made a website. www.riverdalewrestling.net I know it isn't anything amazing but I just started web design last year.

Although I'm sure this sounds like a good job for you, my advice is to focus on your education. Finish high school and get that college degree. Not only is this process important for the education, but you'll also make friends you'll keep for life and, if you do college right, you'll have a blast along the way.

Another reason to forgo this and focus on education is because it will be the easiest time in your life to do it. Once you start working, it will be very hard to go back to school and get that degree you want or need. Trust me, I gave up a full-time job to go to grad school, and, even though it was the right move for me, giving up the money, even for a short time, was difficult. And that was before I got married and had a family. Now, such a move would be even harder.

I would love to work with you guys, but I'm from Brazil (any chance?). I have web design, html and css experience. I worked for a long period with joomla and drupal when I was employee at an internet company and I'm currently finishing my graduation on "Design: Visual Programming". Of course, I love android, mobile technologies and internet. If you say that I got a chance (even though I live in another country), I'll send my resumé right now.

I designed a Web app that said "Hello world" and then it crashed. I also misspelled "world". That was a long month of programing, I tell you.

I got excited because I thought this was another chance for me to become a reviewer. I'm just gonna wait patiently for the opportunity to arise again.

Good luck to everyone that applies for these positions!!

In other words, non-programmers need not apply. Le sigh.
