Rockstar brings Bully to Android to celebrate game's 10th anniversary

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the game, Rockstar is releasing Bully on Android and iOS. Bully: Anniversary Edition costs $6.99, and includes the full-fledged story from the original game along with extra missions, classroom mini-games, and unlockable items. The title is optimized for high-res screens (it looks great on the Pixel), and also has a turn-based multiplayer component.

From the Play Store description:

Bully: Anniversary Edition includes everything from the critically acclaimed Bully: Scholarship Edition plus support for high-resolution displays, enhanced graphics, improved lighting and textures, and controls redesigned for touch gameplay, all while adding multiplayer with new Friend Challenges.Friend Challenges are head-to-head classroom and arcade style mini-games: see who can dissect the frog fastest in Biology, solve word problems in English, help a flying squirrel destroy his enemies with acorns in Nut Shots, and much more.

The mobile version of the game is developed by War Drum Studios, the same studio that ported Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Grand Theft Auto 3, and Max Payne to phones. If you're interested in taking a look, the game is now available on the Play Store.

  • It's the best Android device available... So why not? 😏. Someone is going to comment disagreeing but whatevs.
  • s7 edge.
  • In my opinion, the note 5 is better
  • Lol...your going to have to have some really good reasons to convince me that the note 5 is better than the s7e. And don't say the pen lol.
  • That's what I'm using now, so I thought I'd mention it.
  • We should've been on Bully 4 or something by now. I would love a sequel in a college setting with more jobs, more weapons, maybe join the football team.
  • With how long Rockstar takes for each game (minimum 4-5 years) I wish that they were working on Bully 2 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, where you're in college now and Gary is out to get his revenge on Jimmy. I hope they bring Bully to backwards compatibility on Xbox One soon.
  • Check the digital store. Psn did a huge sale pick up Billy for 5 bucks
  • Wow, what great news. Loved that game, for me it's the best Rockstar game, so it's going to be great to play it again
  • I never finished this game when I had it on the 360
  • This is one of Rockstar's best games, this is very good news. Edit: I'm wondering what in-app purchases there are.
  • Not compatible with the Axon 7
  • not compatible to with zenfone 3. bad port!!!
  • True. Considering it was optimized for gaming and the specs are the same as the leading ones
  • Just installed it on my ZF3. It works fine. It just lags when you're in the outside areas but all you gotta do is set the clarity on low. Inside buildings it can handle high settings.
  • And with the OnePlus 3 neither
  • Axon 7 user here. Yeah, I really can't see why it isn't compatible. It's got 4/6 GBs of RAM and a snapdragon 820 processor. Annoying.
  • same for Moto Z, Moto Z Play, Moto G4 Plus and Neus 6, i think this is a problem with the Play Store and the game
  • I have Moto g4 plus in play store it says your device is not compatible with this game and when i downloaded it from another website cannot install that file will it be solved in future ?
    Plz Reply
  • Not compatible with Moto Z, Axon 7 but yes for the LG G3 lol!
  • Also is $9.99 in the Canadian Google Play Store.
  • I'm not sure what a ps2 game "optimized for high Rez screens" even means but at least android wasnt left out in the cold on am10 year old game release. To bad about super Mario run though... maybe next year😜
  • NO WAY lol I was just thinking of this game yesterday. Never thought I'd be playing it on my phone.
