So "register your interest" pages aren't usually much to shout about. But, this latest one from Orange UK is a little more interesting. The Orange Santa Clara was announced back in February, and will be the first Intel powered Android device to hit the UK. Today the British carrier has opened up the registration page for the device, while also stating that Santa Clara is just the pre-launch name for the device.
We haven't heard much since the product announcement, besides some sneaky benchmarks taken by someone who got an early hands on. We're pretty intrigued to see just what the Intel Medfield architecture can bring to the table, and judging by this, in the UK at least, we may not be waiting much longer.
