htc desire 510

HTC has just announced that the Desire 510 will be coming soon to Sprint, Cricket, Virgin Mobile USA and Boost Mobile. The LTE-enabled HTC Desire 510 was announced yesterday as a new mid-range smartphone. The device was announced with worldwide availability, but HTC didn't specify which carriers. Now we know who will pick it up here in the U.S.

The HTC Desire 510 brings a 4.7-inch display with a 480 x 854 resolution to the table. Inside you'll find a Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, microSD card support and a 5 MP rear camera.

We recently learned that the Desire 510 would be coming next month to the U.K. on mobile operator O2. Now we have Cricket, Sprint, Virgin Mobile USA and Boost Mobile carrying the Desire 510 in the U.S.

Anyone thinking of picking up this budget-friendly phone?

Ninja edit: HTC Canada has shared where you can pick up the Desire 510 in the near future. In Canada? Then look forward to having Fido Mobile, Rogers, Telus, Videotron and Virgin Mobile pick up the HTC Desire 510 soon.

Sprint, Cricket, Virgin Mobile USA and Boost Mobile sign up to sell HTC Desire 510 [Canada too]

Great branding strategy for HTC. Awareness of HTC is in the process of significantly increasing.

Aggressive availability of handset choices by Sprint will also broaden appeal.

Bring it on!

It has an led flash with a 13 mp camera, you can't see it in this photo. This link has the real pictures, IMO he phone would of sold with the exact specs of the HTC one M8.
"" Sprint is doing everything right, if only Hesse didn't have these abilities so I can't blame him at least he kept Sprint all a float & bulky the network from scratch "again". But I'm more glad that Softbank is in control now, the possibilities are bigger than what Verizon or at&t have IMO.

Now that Motorola has made great device for dirt cheap phones like this don't stand a chance. Sorry HTC I love you guys but that screen and no flash... Really? There is no excuse for this ask moto!

Not to mention sense takes about half of the 8 gig.

AC every day

Many will tell you.. Wasting $700.00 to $800.00 on a (G3, HTC M8, Note 3, S5 out the door with Tax on the full retail price + Case + Screen Protector) reading all the hype these websites put on owning such a device makes YOU the one being Ripped Off.... For just a damn cell phone to play games text and check your facebook and twitter accounts..

I concur 100 percent to the point that I no longer waist money on these so called high end devices.

From my Note 2 to you

Same here, Im more interested in the Motorola phone like the moto X & one+1,xiaomi's... Their prices are not realistic for what you get. Manufacturers that are already established believe that the brand is a privilege. Buying these imported low budget flagship phone's will push these other name brand phone's to give more competitive prices... I don't see a certain phone maker budging on their phone prices though. Apple....

Agreed - budget cell phones today aren't bad at all. There are some compromises in buying a budget smartphone (camera, processor speed) but the S4XX processor still performs at a good enough level for 95% of use cases.

I believe this phone is 64bit as well.

But that aweful resolution....should be at least qHD even for budget standards now I agree on the S410 though but that seems like overkill for that screen resolution HTC could have gotten away with a S200 with that resolution.

This will be a great device for my 16 year old daughter. She don't need anything all big and decked out with specs.

Looking forward to it coming to Sprint
