T-Mobile's announcements for their Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ also included the news that the carrier will begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet on August 19. The price for the tablet will be $319.99 without a contract.
T-Mobile's press release did not mention if it will be offering the 8-inch or 9.7-inch model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A, but based on the pricing from Samsung when the tablet was first revealed in April, it sounds like T-Mobile will be selling the larger version. The carrier will also let customers pay for the tablet for $0 down and $13.34 for 23 months, with a final $13.17 payment for the 24th month. Customers can add the tablet to their data plan for $10 a month.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz. The tablet also supports LTE cellular connections in addition to Wi-Fi. Inside there's 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front facing camera and a 6,000mAh battery.
