Samsung Galaxy Tab S

Samsung's next big tablet has been spotted in some recent FCC reports. The document confirms the SM-T800, which is likely the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, has a screen size of 267.2 mm (10.5 inches) and Wi-Fi connectivity. Meanwhile the SM-T805 is expected to be the LTE version and the SM-T801 should have 3G.

The last big leak of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 suggested a 2560 x 1600 AMOLED screen, octa-core 1.9 GHz / 1.3 GHz processor, 3 GB of RAM, and running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. There may very well be 8.4-inch and 13.3-inch models coming out too.

Whatever happens, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is getting ready for the public eye if it's going through the FCC. We're curious to see what features it brings to the table besides those specs, but what do you guys think? Does it perform in the looks department, at least? What are you looking for in your next Android tablet?

It has been an ongoing joke about Samsungs spamming in the tablet market, but this is just getting silly.
My AC App signature lacks a witty comment.

I'm a huge wireless nerd and even I cannot keep up with the cavalcade of tablets that Samsung is putting out. They don't even really even have a flagship line anymore. I know that they are all about filling every single use case and size possible, but they really need to work on consolidating their product line naming conventions and product release cycles. At this point, nobody cares

As long as it has penta-band cellular GSM/LTE compatibility I'm in. Other than the 2012/2013 cellular-enabled Nexus 7s and the cellular-enabled Sony Xperia Z2 tablet, penta-band GSM tablets are hard to find here in Canada (I use an AWS 1700/2100Mhz carrier so I'm a little specific about my gear).

Cost will be a determining factor for me. I have been looking into getting my first tablet recently and was looking at the Tab Pro 10.1, would hope this is priced in line with that, but expect it to be a bit more.

When did a 10 inch tablet become mid size? Did I miss something?

Tab s, tab pro, tab, note and note pro line. How many tablet lines do you need!? All they're doing is rehashing the same product with better specs over and over

While I agree with all the comments on the tablet SPAM, if this thing is AMOLED I'll give it a look. I'm happy with my nexus 7 2013 and old touchpad, and I've seen gorgeous 10" LCD screens, but there is just something about AMOLED that to my eyes can't be beat. I can imagine this would be a nice media screen while sitting on the couch or in bed at night. Should be no dark grey blacks here.

I guess the name wasn't long enough before. "hey guys, check out my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5!" compared to 'iPad' or 'Nexus 7'.

So stupid
