HTC

Join us on two continents to see what's new in HTC's latest flagship

Today is the day. Teased, leaked and basically splayed all over the place for some time now, we're finally going to get our official introduction to the new HTC One. Codenamed M8, this thing has been hyped up to incredible levels. HTC's own Cher Wang and Peter Chou both told us at MWC back in February that March 25 would see "the best get better," and here we are.

Not doing things by halves, HTC is throwing two separate launch events on opposite sides of the Atlantic. We're live in both London and New York City and we'll be bringing you guys with us to both in the liveblog below!

So, the times. Things kick off at 3 p.m. in London and 11 a.m. in New York. That's 4 p.m. for most of mainland Europe, and 8 a.m. for folks on the West Coast. So, join us! It's going to be a good one! And if you want to watch along with us, HTC will be streaming the events here.

I'll be sleeping, I'll take a look this evening (Obviously not that interested). I will either wait to see what LG brings with their G3, I do like the slim bezels, or just continue to hold onto my S4, and be happy.

I don't see much upgrade from the S4/M7 with any new flagship. But my S3 is finished

OMG! I'm so excited. I can't wait to see what the new HTC One looks like.
Apple couldn't have done a better job keeping the new iPhone 6 a secret!

Does anybody have info how what new features it has? Does it still have
two front-facing speakers and a metal body? What's the size of the screen?

Can't wait.... HTC sure knows how to keep up guessing about the specs!

("sense" my sarcasm here?)

I think HTC set a new record for most amount of leaks per a single unreleased device.

I wonder if they'll bring in the YouTube kid that showed off the device? He probably got more views, for free, than the RDJ commercials that they paid 18 million to do.

I was hoping to wake up this morning and see some exciting release dates (as in today) from all of the carriers, and specifically Sprint! :-) maybe after the events today....?

On the bus now headed to Manhattan for the launch, can't wait to get some hands-on time with it and give the new features a go. :)

I was going to suggest that bikers in NYC gas up the motorcycles, just in case the HTC CEO needs a ride....

but then I thought.... bikers and Asians don't mix in NYC. (because of that incident a few months ago involving
the biker gang and the Range Rover) :(

better put the chopper on standby...

I dreamed that I was on the event :( then I woke up and I had to take a shower for work lol

If their video feed of the event that doesn't work is any guage of their future products I have a feeling we are all going to be let down by the new HTC One.

Lol there live feed is pathetic.. Plays for 5 seconds then stops..
