Call of Duty ELITE

Activision has unleashed a new companion app for you all you Call of Duty fans out there. The new mobile app -- Call of Duty: Elite ties into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and pulls information from all your recent matches and more:

  • Check your Career Summary for deep details on your multiplayer activity. Analyze your progress over time to see which areas you need to improve in and which areas you excel in.
  • Review Recent Matches to track your performance on a match-by-match basis.
  • View and edit your Custom Classes on the go. Push your changes into the game so you’re ready to play the moment you load up multiplayer.
  • Track your Challenge progress to help you work toward the highest XP gains.

If you're looking to get more interactive with your Call of Duty gaming then this is the app for you. It's available for devices Android 2.2 and up, though it doesn't appear to fully support tablets so keep that in mind. A few shots of the app can be found past the break, as well as the download.

How can it be a rip-off of an iOS app, if it's by the same people? It's a port of the iOS app made for Android. Everything seems to look fine on my phone.

I'm not trying to start anything with you here, but your phone is in the minority of users right now. They probably wrote the code to work on the majority of phones out there and right now that's phones running Froyo and Gingerbread. Let the company know and maybe soon they will send out an update that works better with ICS. Remember how long it took to get some stuff working with Honeycomb? It'll get there.

Agreed, i'm on a razr and i'm losing about 25% of screen.. Is that what it looks like on an iPhone? Luls

Does it work with the PC version of the game. I notice those who play on the PC get left out of a lot of promotions and other things for the game. Like the mountain dew thing only accepted PS3 and XBox 360 usernames.

Last night i meet up with a friend of mine who is an iOS user, and I an Android user (HTC Glacier).

The actual displayed screen had the same size definitions. and my back button doesn't work nor does the designated menu button.

It feels as if the ported the very same iOS app and just pushed it to .apk for android.

nice app, but i wanted an android app, not a port.

I agree that it seems like just an Android port of an iOS app. The only back button that works is the one on the top of the screen. I was thinking maybe it just didnt' work quite well with ICS. I posted a review with that as why it only got 2 stars.

Maybe the app will evolve now that its out on Android. We can hope.

Actually the app seems to work faster than their website, lol
