4.3 rolling out now for HTC One Mini; Verizon HTC One OTA due this week; international One Max also getting bugfix update

More Android 4.3 updates are arriving for certain HTC One series handsets this week. First up, the international HTC One Mini is getting an over-the-air update to version 2.12.401.1, based on Android 4.3 and HTC Sense 5.5, which brings it in line with the European HTC One. The update includes all the features we've previously seen Sense 5.5 updates for the One and One Max, including a re-vamped BlinkFeed and additional gallery and video highlight features.

Next is the Verizon HTC One, which had its Android 4.3 update delayed around a month and a half ago. According to a tweet by Mo Versi, HTC's Executive Director of Product Management, Verizon's M7 should be getting its Android 4.3 OTA this week after the update received technical approval from the carrier. It's unclear whether this update will be based on Sense 5.5 or the older Sense 5.0, however.

And finally the international version of the HTC One Max is getting a selection of bug fixes in an update now heading out to European handsets. Version 1.54.401.1 — still based on Android 4.3 — includes fixes for touch responsiveness, SIM card detection, Wifi connectivity and general system stability. In addition, the update resolves issues when posting HTC Shares to Facebook, and improves performance for the battery-toting HTC Power Flip Case.

Next up is Android 4.4 KitKat, which is already rolling out to unlocked and developer edition HTC Ones in the U.S., and due to land internationally by the end of January.

More HTC Android 4.3 updates landing this week

It is written: "those - who are first - will be last. And, those - last - first."

Posted from my "Gift from God" Nexus 5

So that is why my wife always calls me a winner!

Dammit man, I am a commenter not a clairvoyant!

So the Evo Lte isnt getting any love once again. I'm officially moving on from HTC next phone I get. This is such bull.

If updates are that important to you just go Nexus next time. My 1 year old Nexus 4 is running 4.4.2 just something to keep in mind

I'm actually looking to switch to the Nexus 5. I already have the LG G-pad, and would love to put the QPair feature to good use.

Same here. I would say give it a week or at least until the end of the year. The EVO LTE and the One X have always had about a week or two difference when it came to past updates. So any hope for the EVO LTE would be by the end of the year.

they said the evo should be getting the 4.3 by the end of the year but im with you on moving on from htc im going to get a nexus and stay with that

At one time the HOX+ was flagship phone. Still rockin' 4.1.2.

However, with Cover and Aviate on it now, it don't seem too bad.

You know the international One x+ is on 4.2.2 with sense 5 right? Att or your carrier drop the ball and did not update your phone.

I'm with you. I bought the inc 4g dec. '12. It's still on 4.0. I've had it with HTC, and not just them. I've had it with any cellphone manufacturer that artificially limits their phones for no technical reason at all.

No love for my old HTC Sensation XE? Oh well, *throws back into drawer*

Sent via the Android 5.0 MilkShake.

I would caution anyone to wait on the 4.3 from Verizon to make sure it doesn't break RumRunner. At least if you have any interest in custom ROM action

you kids have it too easy now a days.

I remember when we had to S-off with a paper clip and a steady hand.

We also wore onions on our belts, because that was the style back then

Was expecting the update from Verizon next month. This is a nice holiday treat for my One!

Still waiting for the EVO Lte to get the update. Apparently it's been delayed and won't come out until the end of January. :'(

I don't know why every one gets there knickers in a knot about updates ..HTC will only update your model of phone if they feel it will better your experience, and your hardware will support it ..
But sometimes it's down to the carriers who block it ..
HTC are still better than Samsung at updating there ranges ...
I personally hope HTC can survive. ..I love there phones ..I currently have the ,one and the max ..both awesome phones ..
