Facebook continues expanding its studios with a major announcement: Ready at Dawn has been acquired and is now a part of Oculus Studios. As part of Oculus Studios, Ready at Dawn will continue developing Lone Echo II, as well as "continue creating memorable, immersive, and innovative VR content."
The studio had a long history of working with Sony-owned SIE Santa Monica on games like God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta, as well as developing The Order 1886 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
Ready at Dawn operates two studios, with one in Irvine, California and another in Portland, Oregon, the latter of which is working as a support team on future projects. Facebook has been acquiring new additions for Oculus Studios over the past few months, including Sanzaru Games and Beat Games.
