According to some new documents, HTC and Under Armour appear to be working together on a new connected scale. First discovered by PhoneScoop, the listing is for something named "UA Scale" and its showing under the HTC Corporation branding. It is described as "HTC & UA provide a Bluetooth scale to measure weight and body fat," and the listing appears to have been made in late November.
Also shown off by the listing is Bluetooth 4.1, which is likely how the scale will talk with smartphones. HTC was previously working on a fitness wearable, the Grip, but the launch has been delayed until 2016 at this point. Neither HTC nor Under Armour have officially commented on the scale at this point.
