Mark Zuckerberg

We're starting to fill our schedules for Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona. And one must-see keynote address will come from none other than Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who was just announced as a speaker this morning.

Mobile World Congress

We're not expecting any new device announcements, especially given the failure of last year's HTC First/Facebook Home experiment, though stranger things have happened. No, instead what we're likely to hear is a sort of "state of mobile" speech that's more common at MWC. Google's Eric Schmidt has done so in past years, and it usually proves to be interesting.

So set your clocks for 4 p.m. Barcelona time on Feb. 24 — that's noon on the east coast of the U.S. And as always, we'll be there live to bring it straight from our eyeballs to yours.

Does he know anything about HUMAN interaction??? Considering Facebook has killed face to face, in person, personable interaction? I miss the way people communicated pre 2002, pre-texting era, and pre-Facebook era.

THIS!!

He wanted to unite the world yet I've never felt further from my friends. "Why visit someone and talk to them when you can find out what's going on with them in 5 mins on Facebook?" I absolutely loath that mentality and therefore loath Facebook and Zuckerfuck for creating it ... What is going to happen in ten to twenty years I wonder... scary thought.

In the end he did pay the winklevoss twins $50 million. Then they were going to sue him again after the found out it wasn't even a pittance of what the company was really worth.

FB sucks anyways, quit using it after one time in 2010. It puts hidden cookies on your devices that track every website you go to, unless you delete all cookies after using it, they claim intellectual ownership of every picture, video, or thought and idea you post on their site as well.

A couple years back there was a woman who went to a store to buy stuff and saw picture frames with the stock photo in it and was her family. Found out it was FB that sold hers and others photos to companies and there was nothing she could do about it because she accepted the TOA.

Leaked from his personal notes: "We, at Facebook, are one of the most known IT and mobile business over the world. Therefore, we officially announce today that we don't care about standards. The iOS app is better than Android's and will stay like that. We won't bring syncronized alerts, nor will fix the discrepancy between desktop and mobile likes and comments counts. Finally, and I speak on behalf of all of my team, DERP!"

Making a device for an app which users will eventually get tired of was a stupid idea in the first place.

Why not both?

I use FB mostly to keep in touch with people far away from me and get together with people closer to me.

Even with people close by, you fall out of touch for one reason or another.

Lord zuckerbeast demeands more data!
