Research firm comScore has just released its quarterly U.S. smartphone market share numbers, and as expected Android is leading the charge. comScore published the survey results of their study of the American mobile landscape in the three months leading up to August, and found that Samsung is still the king of the heap with 25.7% share, while Android was also on top of all smartphone operating systems with 52.6%.
