Galaxy Note 5, S6 edge+ receive security update from Verizon

Verizon is pushing out a security update for both the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. Samsung had committed to fast tracking security updates a few months back, and so far has kept its word. In addition, this update lays some groundwork for the enabling of Samsung Pay when it finally arrives, as Verizon has announced it will indeed support the mobile payment service.

If you own either smartphone, and have yet to receive a notification for the update you can check manually now. To do so, all you have to do is head into your Settings, then scroll down to About Device and check for update. Already received the update? Let us know if you are noticing any other changes.
